I visited this café near a family home we're moving to, after hearing it only sells same-day baked goods. The bread and desserts were fresh and delicious since they're made that day, and the coffee paired well with the bakery items — overall a satisfying visit. There was a wide range of bakery items too. Alongside their signature salt bread, ciabatta, and egg tart, they also sell various baked goods like scones and cookies. Everything is made fresh daily with quality ingredients and careful process, they said.

Since they bake bread by hand every day, it was great being able to catch freshly baked items whenever I visited. There were actually a lot of customers when I came, and I could see why it's known as a bakery spot in Ogeum-dong.

The mocha salt bread was ₩3,800, an affordable price to try. The outside had the sweet, nutty flavor you'd expect from a mocha bun, while the inside kept the plain, savory taste of a basic salt bread. Neither the saltiness nor sweetness was overdone, so the overall balance was good and it was delicious.

The egg tart was also delicious. The vanilla bean filling inside was smooth and full of flavor, and since it was freshly baked, both the bread and dessert felt fresh. Every menu item did a good job bringing out its basic flavor, which made the whole visit satisfying.

The signature Grid cream shot was ₩5,500 and the café latte was ₩4,400, both reasonably priced. The coffee itself, when I actually drank it, had a subtle but genuine coffee flavor that I liked. It went well paired with the bread too.

Overall, this was a delicious café where I enjoyed everything from bread to drinks. Since the bakery is baked fresh in-store every day, being able to taste freshly made bread was especially nice, and the coffee paired well with the bakery items too. If you're looking for delicious bread and dessert in Ogeum-dong, it might be worth visiting Grid Cafe.
