When I picked it up, it had quite a generous amount of vegetables, especially onions. And because it had lots of onions, I could feel their crisp texture along with the patty. I prefer a burger with plenty of onions like this rather than just a few, so that part suited my taste. It had vegetables like lettuce, too, and they felt fresh overall. Typical chicken-burger patties often chew softly, as if they are ground, but Texas Red felt chewier and had more bite than that. To me, it seemed like a whole-muscle chicken patty with distinct fibers rather than a ground patty. Even though they were both burgers, the beef and chicken patties had different textures, so sharing the two made the difference really clear. Garlic Boom had a juicy patty, and the generous amount of onions stood out. Texas Red had a chicken patty with a distinctive chewiness that felt a little different from a typical chicken burger. The fries were crisp and not heavily seasoned, so they were easy to eat. Above all, the restaurant's retro decor made it a nice place to take photos while eating.
