I thought it was just a rice cake sales spot, but there was a café-style seating area in the back where you could sit and relax. Honestly, this was the biggest reason I came to Tteokmama in Yullyang-dong haha. I'd heard pizza sulgi was really trending lately, so I got curious and bought some right away. From the outside it just looks like a soft sulgi (steamed rice cake), but pizza sauce is hidden inside! So I took a bite and... oh?! This actually tastes like pizza, more than I expected haha The chewy, crumbly texture of the sulgi combined with the pizza sauce inside really did taste like eating pizza🍕 A rice cake that tastes like pizza felt a little strange at first, but the more I ate, the more it weirdly worked haha. Especially if you love pizza, it's worth trying once just for fun✌️ ## Seollog's one-line verdict on Tteokmama ❓⁉️ With such a wide variety of rice cakes and prices that won't break the bank, this Yullyang-dong rice cake shop is fun to browse for any rice cake lover! If you've been curious about the currently trending pizza sulgi, it's worth a visit at least once🍕♥️ Next time I'll come a bit earlier and properly clean out the rice cake selection haha.
