The order was a cheese octopus fritter drink set for 11,000 won, spicy boneless chicken skewers for 5,000 won and a mango slushy for 3,000 won, all eaten in the car on the move, with the slushy beer saved for next time because of the drive. Every single time I come to Jeonju, haha, I really feel like... these people just know exactly where people's eyes light up. Ugh, in the best way. How does everything look this delicious... While walking around the Hanok Village, I noticed everyone was carrying a skewer, so I looked closer and it turned out to be octopus!!!! So I went straaaaight there, and here's my review-♥ ## Where is Munkkocchi Mungangjeong in Jeonju Hanok Village, and what are its hours? - 📍Location: 35 Eunhaeng-ro, 1st floor, Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeonbuk-do - 📍Hours: 11:00–20:30 (Saturday: until 22:00) (Sunday: until 21:00) - 📍Parking: None, but stopping briefly for under 1 minute is fine (pickup) - 📍Skewer orders: 5-minute wait ## Outdoor tables down an alley off the Hanok Village main street Munkkocchi Mungangjeong Jeonju Hanok Village Branch is a street-food-focused spot, so there's no separate indoor seating area, but they've set up outdoor bench tables so you can sit and eat simply! Honestly, whenever I get Jeonju street food to go, there's usually nowhere to sit and I end up standing around awkwardly eating it, but here there's actually a place to sit — ugh, I was so, so satisfied with this part. Also, the area where the shop is located is on a really busy street... but instead of being right in the center of it, it's tucked one more alley in, so compared to other branches you can enjoy things a bit more relaxed, without getting jostled by crowds!!!! The octopus fritter was really a flavor I'd never had before. It's kind of like a fried gimmari (seaweed roll), but with really!! big!! chunks of octopus inside — the octopus has great chew, and the outer batter is crispy. This day I was driving, so unfortunately I couldn't have the slushy beer, but since I saw they sell it, I'll definitely come back to have the octopus fritter and octopus skewers together with a slushy beer next time, haha.
