## In short

Uwol Gimbap is a gimbap and bunsik (Korean street-food snacks) restaurant on Gangseo-ro 45ga-gil, near Ujangsan Station in Gangseo, Seoul. Lunch was the ramen set (ramen, gimbap, and pork cutlet) plus ₩8,000 rabokki, and dipping the gimbap into the rabokki broth was the standout combination. Uwol Gimbap is open daily from 8am to 9pm, making it an easy stop for a filling solo lunch.

Bunsik (Korean street-food snacks) is always an easy, low-pressure lunch option. A single roll of gimbap (seaweed rice roll) on its own is nice, but add ramen, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), or pork cutlet and it turns into a proper meal.

This time I was looking for lunch near Ujangsan Station and ended up at Uwol Gimbap, a well-known spot in the area. True to its name it has plenty of gimbap options, but it turned out to have far more full meal choices than I expected — I came in for something light and left with a solid, filling meal.

## Where is Uwol Gimbap, and what are its hours and parking?

Uwol Gimbap is at 10 Gangseo-ro 45ga-gil, 1st floor, unit 103, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, near Ujangsan Station, so it's easy to find. It's open daily from 8am to 9pm, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Being so close to Ujangsan Station, it seems like a convenient stop for office workers and locals in the area.

There's also a small parking space beside the shop, room for about one car.

The interior is clean and tidy, with more seating than I expected — comfortable for eating solo. Ordering is done through a kiosk, so it's easy even on a first visit.

## Uwol Gimbap menu: what's on it and what the rabokki costs

Looking through the menu, there was quite a variety of gimbap — not just the standard roll but versions made with different fillings — plus bunsik staples like ramen, tteokbokki, and rabokki (ramen and tteokbokki combined).

On top of that there was pork cutlet, rice bowls, and stews, so the range of choices was wider than I expected.

This time I ordered the ramen set and the rabokki. The ramen set lets you enjoy ramen, gimbap, and pork cutlet all together, perfect for when you want a bit of everything.

The rabokki was ₩8,000, an easy price to order without a second thought. It's a natural pick if you like both ramen and tteokbokki.

## How did the ramen set and ₩8,000 rabokki taste?

The ramen set at Uwol Gimbap came out looking generous, with hot ramen, gimbap, and pork cutlet all served together.

The ramen had a warm broth and springy noodles, that comforting flavor typical of a bunsik shop. Pairing it with gimbap added more texture variety and made the meal that much heartier than ramen alone.

The pork cutlet had a crispy coating and tender meat, easy to eat. Dipping it in the sauce added a sweet-savory note that went well alongside the ramen.

What I liked about the rabokki was getting to enjoy rice cakes and ramen noodles together.

The rice cakes were chewy, and the noodles were evenly coated in sauce with a good spicy-sweet balance. Dipping gimbap lightly into the rabokki broth worked especially well — it was fun mixing bunsik dishes together like that.

The portion was more than enough for a full lunch.

## Final verdict: is Uwol Gimbap worth a lunch stop near Ujangsan Station?

If you're looking for a place near Ujangsan Station that goes beyond gimbap and bunsik snacks to a proper, filling meal, Uwol Gimbap is a solid choice.

With such a varied menu, it works well for a simple solo meal or for ordering several dishes to share.

The ramen set in particular was satisfying, letting you enjoy gimbap, pork cutlet, and ramen all at once, and the ₩8,000 rabokki was an easy pick for anyone who loves bunsik.

If you're near Ujangsan Station looking for lunch or just a quick bite, Uwol Gimbap with its wide menu is worth remembering.
