I actually used to dislike minari (water dropwort), but when I went with coworkers and couldn't pick around it, I ended up forcing myself to eat it — and somehow got hooked haha (minari samgyeopsal is also my favorite now... 💚). Every grain of rice is well seasoned and so savory ㅠㅠㅠ. It's the unforgettable Deungchon signature dish once you try it.. though I have had one branch where it was disappointingly bland before. Shabu-shabu, kalguksu-dumpling soup, and fried rice, all enjoyable like a course for ₩30,000 for two at Deungchon Shabu Kalguksu Giheung Station Branch. What set it apart from other branches was that dumplings come included as standard — and definitely save room for the fried rice.. haha.
