Hi everyone, this is Hey Bonnie, your beauty and fashion influencer. My boyfriend and I ran errands near Ruwon City and by the time we finished it was already late at night. Neither of us had eaten a proper meal, so since we were going to eat anyway, I wanted to find somewhere really good — and that's when I discovered a restaurant that takes its meat seriously.

If you're driving, you can use free parking at the parking lot inside 3M Tower — worth keeping in mind.

## A black pork restaurant that made its name in Paju, run by an owner serious about meat

This place is already well known as a black pork restaurant in Paju, so it was surprising that we could enjoy it in Seo-gu, Incheon.

The owner has an enormous amount of cooking experience and takes cooking seriously — nothing about the ingredients is handled carelessly, they said. Just watching the owner grill the meat in person, you can really feel how devoted they are to it.

## Jirisan black pork aged 7 days, grilled directly over charcoal

At this Ruwon City meat restaurant we of course ordered the black pork, along with sides like steamed egg and gochujang jjigae.

This place ages Jirisan black pork for 7 days at low temperature, then cuts it thick and grills it directly over charcoal — a basic but essential principle they've kept for a very long time.

Honestly, it looks difficult just to watch, and seeing it in person you really wonder how they grill meat over this fire without it turning tough haha. This is where I felt truly touched by the owner +_+!

## How thick are the cuts, and how juicy is the black pork?

Heukdwaeji Hyeongjedeul Gajeong Ruwon City Main Branch, a Gajeong-dong, Incheon meat restaurant, is a place with real bite thanks to 7-day low-temperature aging and thick cuts, and the juiciness itself is outstanding!

Since the owner grills the meat personally, the juiciness was more flawless than at any other BBQ restaurant, and it also meant we could enjoy the meat comfortably, which made the meal even more delicious.

## Why the sides are a must: gochujang jjigae packed with meat

The meat is delicious here, but the sides really carry their weight too — this was the first time I'd seen a stew at a BBQ restaurant with this much meat in it!

It was good enough to make me want to move into the owner's house haha — the jjigae was excellent. If you visit after reading this post, ordering a side dish is not optional, it's a must +_+!

## Sooryangmi rice with juicy pork neck and pork belly

The rice also had a subtle flavor with the savory scorched-rice aroma of the premium rice called 'sooryangmi,' so the quality of the rice raised the overall quality of the whole meal.

The restaurant's signature aged black pork neck and pork belly weren't like ordinary pork at all — they were so juicy it felt like biting into beef haha. I'm definitely planning to come back here soon.

It was a truly delicious visit to Heukdwaeji Hyeongjedeul Gajeong Ruwon City Main Branch, where an owner devoted to meat runs the show!

Both my boyfriend and I take eating seriously enough that a good meal can decide the mood of our whole day. This time we were looking for a good restaurant in Ruwon City, and thanks to the delicious meat, it felt like we were given a proper gift to end the day :)
