First, the rice cakes were exactly my type. Made with wheat flour, they were super chewy yet soft, pairing really well with the sauce. Not too hard or tough, just soft and chewy — absolutely delicious🖤 It's the broth-style tteokbokki with plenty of liquid, and the broth itself is so good I kept scooping it up with a spoon... hahaha You know dipping the fried snacks and sundae into the broth makes them even better!! ✔️ The medium spice level wasn't very hot at all! A lot of tteokbokki places these days emphasize how spicy they are, but this one wasn't intimidating at all, which I appreciated.
