Sushi Doku The Songdo is a Songdo sushi restaurant I visit so often I've lost count (NNNN-th visit, basically). I've paid with my own money plenty of times, and I went again this time haha Songdo actually has a ridiculous number of sushi places, but it's hard to find one good enough to return to. That's why I keep coming back to Sushi Doku The Songdo. The sushi place I think of when I think of Songdo, you know?? I always bring friends who are new to Songdo here, and whenever someone asks for a Songdo sushi recommendation, this is the one I give haha ![Visit to Sushi Doku The Songdo at Onesta Mall, Songdo](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-01-16t14-900.webp) ![Inside Sushi Doku The Songdo](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-02-11cjo-900.webp) ## Which set should you order at Sushi Doku The Songdo? Standard, Premium or Special: Premium What I always order at Sushi Doku The Songdo is the Premium Sushi Set (myeongpum sushi jeongsik)!!! The Standard Sushi Set is tasty too, of course, but it leaves me wanting a bit more haha, and when the Special feels too pricey, I always end up going with the Premium. ![Set meal menu at Sushi Doku The Songdo](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-03-e5hfq-900.webp) ![Premium Sushi Set menu at Sushi Doku The Songdo](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-04-1oh0p-900.webp) ## Sushi Doku The Songdo atmosphere and the opening-time crowd The restaurant is always this clean, so it's a nice place to bring guests~ I queued at opening this day too, and the place was full the second it opened, seriously o_O Good, tasty places really do draw crowds without saying a word. ![Sushi Doku The Songdo interior, full right after opening](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-05-i8szj-900.webp) ## How fast does the Premium Sushi Set come out? After I ordered two Premium Sushi Sets at Sushi Doku The Songdo, the sushi came out within about 10 minutes. Super fast, love it! ![Premium Sushi Set spread served within 10 minutes of ordering](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-06-xzdnf-900.webp) ![Two Premium Sushi Sets at Sushi Doku The Songdo](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-07-9drx2-900.webp) Wow, the look of it is just stunning, right? This is exactly why Sushi Doku The Songdo is the first place that comes to mind for a Songdo restaurant. ![Sushi lineup of the Premium Sushi Set](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-08-1ch9x-900.webp) ![Premium Sushi Set nigiri with salmon, flounder, sweet shrimp and tuna](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-09-116it-1200.webp) ### Sushi in the Premium Sushi Set: salmon, flounder, sweet shrimp, tuna, eel, monkfish liver The Premium Sushi Set has my beloved salmon.. flounder.. sweet shrimp.. tuna.. eel... monkfish liver (ankimo).. How could you not love this? Look at the color of the fish, it practically says 'I'm fresh' on it. ![Close-up of the fish on Sushi Doku The Songdo sushi](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-10-9cw5o-900.webp) From my beloved chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) to the sashimi quality, tempura and karaage (Japanese-style fried chicken), there's so much good stuff that I always leave Sushi Doku stuffed haha lol ![Side dishes served with the Premium Sushi Set](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-11-fpyyz-900.webp) ![Fried items and accompaniments in the Sushi Doku The Songdo set](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-12-b6qkn-900.webp) ### Soy sauce at Sushi Doku The Songdo is brushed on, not dipped At Sushi Doku The Songdo, you don't dip the sushi in soy sauce; it's set up so you brush it on like this. That way it always goes on neatly, which I love! ![Soy sauce prepared for brushing onto sushi](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-13-4x5sn-900.webp) ![Brushing soy sauce onto Sushi Doku sushi](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-14-1vasc-900.webp) ## What must you eat at Sushi Doku The Songdo? The chawanmushi My pick today is, once again, the chawanmushi........ I'm giving it first place right away. The chawanmushi at Sushi Doku The Songdo is truly perfect from the very first spoonful hehehe ![Chawanmushi at Sushi Doku The Songdo](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-15-1kfba-900.webp) ![A bowl of chawanmushi included in the set](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-16-l7cuu-900.webp) ### Is the udon that comes with the set good too? Oh! And the udon that comes as a side with the set at Sushi Doku The Songdo is tasty too haha. A good restaurant should be good from the main to the sides. The fish cake inside the udon is so cute hehehe. Having a side in the middle of eating sushi is part of the charm of Sushi Doku, my Songdo favorite! Ordering the set means no need to order sides separately, which is the most convenient! ![Side udon with fish cake included in the set](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-17-1xpr7-900.webp) ![Finishing the Premium Sushi Set meal at Sushi Doku The Songdo](https://img.superchart.com/images/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set/songdo-sushi-doku-regular-premium-set-18-hrlty-900.webp) ## Why I recommend Sushi Doku The Songdo as a Songdo sushi restaurant Anyway, today's meal at Sushi Doku The Songdo was once again totally satisfying. My parents love Sushi Doku too, which makes me so proud.............. The Songdo branch wins over even my picky parents, so if you're looking for a good sushi place, give it a visit!~ ## Where it is - Sushi Doku The Songdo
