It’s fig season right now especially, and I kept seeing such impressive fig desserts, so I hurried over..! There are seriously so many cafés around Gangnam Station, but this one has great food and a great atmosphere, so I totally recommend it...! The seating is spacious, the vibe is lovely, there’s a terrace...! I visited around 8 p.m., and the terrace lights were so pretty and atmospheric..! There were quite a lot of people too..! ## Plenty of seating from the first to third floors Inside, the wood-toned interior made for a cozy atmosphere! Since it was a weekday evening, it wasn’t wildly crowded. It has a cozy feel and seems perfect for a relaxed conversation. There’s plenty of seating, so I think you can visit without feeling pressured! (Apparently there can be a wait on weekends.) ### The second floor, with the ordering area This is the second floor! (I’ll show you all of them in detail later.) There are even more seats than on the first floor! And if you open that wooden door and go out...! Ta-da..! There are these lovely terrace seats! I think the atmosphere is even better at night! 😉 It looks so perfect for a blind date or an early-relationship date! There’s also a very cute restroom beside the second-floor counter..! The door is a little narrow (?) but it’s spacious inside!! ### The third floor, with an even larger terrace There are even more seats when you go up to the third floor! Go up these stairs and there are tons of seats on both sides! The third floor seemed to have more comfortable seats than the first and second floors too. I can’t believe there’s such a big café in Gangnam..! It would work for a group gathering too, wouldn’t it?! ## The dessert display late in the day There’s a huge variety of drinks too! Their fig cake looked really delicious too! There were so many kinds of baked goods too, but because we arrived late, most were sold out ㅜ,ㅜ Still, there were quite a few kinds of scones and financiers, so...! What a relief. The display case beside them was already completely empty because everything had sold! Such a popular café...! ## From café latte to fig desserts We ordered five things: a café latte, matcha Einspänner, fig sando, fig financier, and a plain scone! It was smooth and nutty, so it went nicely with the desserts. You could taste matcha’s pleasant bitterness alongside the coffee flavor of cold brew, so if you usually like matcha, this is worth trying at least once. Paired with sweet desserts, the bitter notes of matcha and coffee refreshed my palate here and there, so it worked really well. It seems like a menu item that would really suit anyone who loves fig desserts! It was packed with figs too! It has a different charm from the sando, so if you love figs, it might be nice to compare both. Lastly, the scone! It was mild and nutty, making it nice with a latte or cold brew.
