I figured I'd just have a quick coffee and leave. As soon as I stepped onto the first floor, the big green plants caught my eye — definitely a different vibe from a café packed wall-to-wall with tables. The wood finishes mixed with plants gave it a slight garden feel even though it's indoors, which I really liked. The light was good too, so during the day sunlight pours into the space, making it bright and comfortable overall. One sip in, there was a subtle sour, slightly bitter grapefruit taste. It's not an ade that's just heavily sweet — the tartness of the grapefruit comes through too, leaving your mouth feeling quite clean. It felt like the kind of refreshing drink that'd be even better sipped slowly outdoors on a nice day. ## Black sesame latte The black sesame latte at Flowerpot, the go-to café near Mulwang Reservoir, had a totally different vibe from an americano just from looking at it. On top of a croissant baked crisp, there's a generous layer of soft cream, topped colorfully with fig, Shine Muscat grapes, and blueberries. Especially with the fruit adding texture bite by bite, the sweetness of the cream got cut through a bit, leaving a cleaner finish than expected. A sip of coffee, a bite of croissant, then a piece of fruit — I kept reaching for this combo without noticing, haha. It looked pretty and had several flavors coming through at once, making it a great choice if you're picking one dessert at a café. ## Pairing Flowerpot Cafe & Bakery with a Mulwang Reservoir walk When you come out to Mulwang Reservoir, it feels like a waste to just eat and head straight home.
