I love kalguksu and come here often — Hongdukkkae Kalguksu in Jakdong, Bucheon tends to have a long wait at lunch. Today I came for dinner and there was no wait, but they have Catch Table for easy waiting anyway, plus plenty of waiting chairs to sit comfortably. Jakdong Hongdukkkae is actually also known for its kongguksu (chilled soybean noodle soup), which gets popular in summer. Once the broth in the pot starts boiling, you flip the hourglass next to it twice and add the noodles — that's the exact timing. I was waiting to see when the broth would boil, and soon the lid started rattling!
