I heard a famous local Cheonan restaurant opened a branch in Ingye-dong — how could I not go?! My husband and I headed out for a late dinner at 'Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch,' a well-loved Ingye-dong spot! ✨

Comfortable parking like this is hard to find in Ingye-dong, right?! This restaurant has room for about 3 cars in front, plus a spacious underground lot, so it's great to visit by car! 👍

## Inside the Ingye-dong restaurant: solo seats and the kiosk menu

Walking inside Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, the space is spacious with generous gaps between tables and it's clean. ✨ There's a range of seating from 4-tops to large group tables, so it also looks perfect for a group dinner or gathering, haha.

There's a TV set up inside too, so I'd totally recommend it to anyone coming for a solo Korean meal in Ingye-dong! 📺 I even saw some people already having a shot of soju!? So jealous... T_T

You order using the kiosk installed at each table! Looking at the menu, besides the signature pork bone soup, there's also seonji (blood sausage) haejangguk, pork bone udon soup, and various other options. 😋 You can adjust the spice level to your taste too, which is right up my alley since I love spicy food! 🔥

There's also a steamed dumpling menu that's great for little kids, so it'd be nice to visit with the family too. Plus, they add an extra bone when you order takeout — such a good deal?! 🎁 We ordered two bowls of the spicy pork bone soup (₩11,000) at this Ingye-dong restaurant! 🥣

## Side dishes and the self-serve bar

After we ordered, the owner set out kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi), pickled onions, and wasabi soy sauce as side dishes.

The kkakdugi seems homemade — it has such a crisp, alive texture and tastes great! The pickled onions are sweet and tangy too, perfect alongside the spicy soup. 🧅

If the side dishes run out, you can just grab more from the self-serve bar! There were spicy peppers at the self-serve bar too, so we grabbed some to eat alongside. 🌶️ (Watch out, they're really spicy!)

The spicy pork bone soup we ordered arrived! Doesn't the visual — the red color of the broth alone — already scream delicious?!?🌶️

It came piled with green onions, which I love!>_< I originally thought about going for the hottest spice level, but since this was my first meal of the day, I worried it might upset my stomach, so I picked the spicy option instead. Next time I'll definitely come back and try the hottest level! 😉

After clearing away the mound of green onions, I fished out a big bone — look how much meat is packed onto it?! ✨ There were even 3 bones this size in the bowl, so the portion is really generous!

The meat on the bone is so tender that it comes off easily with just a light touch of the chopsticks, so it's easy to eat. Can you see it?! Meat that just falls right off..🥰

The base seasoning of the soup is well balanced, so it's delicious and savory even on its own, but dipping it in the wasabi soy sauce or piling it on top of rice makes it really satisfying! There's so much meat that just picking the bones clean was enough to fill you up. 🥩

The broth is really rich, savory, and spicy, which is exactly my taste! I fell for the deep, rich flavor of the broth and kept scooping in spoonfuls of rice..

...until I just mixed all the leftover rice in and enjoyed a hearty meal. 🍚 Topping it with a piece of well-fermented, crunchy kkakdugi made for the perfect meal!! 👍 The meat was tender and generous, and the broth had such a rich, deep flavor that even though I was full, I picked up the earthenware pot and finished it to the last drop.😋

## Free ice cream and other after-meal extras

After finishing our meal and heading out, diners get free ice cream! 🍦 There's also vending machine coffee to cleanse your palate, and the owner was so kind that it made for a pleasant, satisfying dinner of haejangguk in Ingye-dong right to the end!

On top of that, there were even green grape candies, floss, and fabric deodorizer set out — such generous hospitality from such a kind owner...🥰 Coupang Eats delivery riders kept coming in too, so this must be a popular delivery spot in Ingye-dong, haha.
