Godeungeo Myeongpumi Doeda Suwon Branch is at 1731 Seobu-ro, 1st floor, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon-si, about 10 minutes by car from Suwon Station. The lot was plenty spacious, so it was perfect for driving over. ## Inside the restaurant and the self-serve banchan bar Godeungeo Myeongpumi Doeda Suwon Branch has a large hall with plenty of seats, great for family groups. Look at the visual of the braised mackerel I love so much. Underneath was braised radish along with aged kimchi — eating fish alone can get a little tiring after a while, but having kimchi in between made for a great combination. One bowl of rice wasn't enough so I secretly ordered an extra one, haha. My mom and sister who came with me both enjoyed it a lot too. I didn't get a photo, but at the end we had a bowl of sungnyung (scorched rice water) and it settled our full stomachs perfectly. A very filling and satisfying meal right to the end, haha. ## Final verdict: who should eat at Godeungeo Myeongpumi Doeda Suwon Branch Godeungeo Myeongpumi Doeda Suwon Branch is great for people who love fish in general, and also for anytime you want a clean, hearty meal that feels like home cooking. Everything we ordered this time was satisfying, so now I want to work my way through the other menu items one by one :) Beyond the grilled fish, they have braised dishes and even sashimi, so if you're visiting with a group, I'd recommend splitting several different menu items rather than ordering just one.
