I also spotted plain financiers and pecan caramel financiers on the side. Looking further into the café, there was an open area with an oven and various tools that seemed to be used for baking. I liked its thick slice from the moment I saw it in the showcase, haha. After one bite, it had a rich cheese flavor and a dense texture. But it wasn’t only heavy—it melted softly in the mouth! I loved that combination of dense and smooth. The savory cheese flavor came through nicely too, so if you like cheesecake, I think it’s worth trying. When I cut one with a fork, the outside was lightly crisp while the inside was moist—exactly the crisp-outside, moist-inside texture I love. And best of all, it wasn’t overly sweet! Its moderate sweetness made it great with coffee, and I kept reaching for it.
