When I was a kid, there was always one bread at the market or the neighborhood bakery that caught my eye for some reason — old-school sarada bread.

That flavor of crispy bread stuffed with tons of cabbage, topped with ketchup and mayo!

These days there are so many pretty desserts and new menu items, but sometimes I crave that old-school taste so much, haha. I went to K-Chop Sarada near Sinsa Station this time, since I heard you can properly meet that nostalgic sarada bread there.

## What five sarada breads went into the takeout box

The K-Chop Sarada takeout box fits 5 sarada breads. This is where decision paralysis kicks in again, haha. It felt like a waste to pick just one, and since we were taking it to go anyway, we decided to try several kinds.

You can fit 5 sarada breads in the takeout box~ This would be perfect to bring along when visiting a friend's place. The sarada breads lined up in the red box look cute too. Buying a bunch of different kinds is definitely the way to go with these, haha.

## How does K-Chop Sarada's old-school sarada bread taste?

K-Chop Sarada's bread was crispy on the outside and the cabbage inside was crunchy. I hadn't had sarada bread in ages, so I was totally excited. The first bite had great texture thanks to the crispy bread.

And inside, the crunchy cabbage with ketchup and mayo made for that sweet-tangy, savory flavor~ Ah, this is exactly it, haha. Fancy modern-style desserts are great, but this kind of old-school sarada bread has a flavor that just brings back memories.

Crispy bread, moist inside, and crunchy cabbage in the sarada — !! The thinly sliced cabbage made it even better.

I assumed all the sarada breads would taste pretty similar since they're all called sarada bread, but the vibe changes quite a bit depending on the filling.

We picked a bunch of different kinds to share with family... haha. There were so many varieties that everyone could find something to their taste.

For me... maybe because it's the flavor I ate as a kid, the K-Chop Sarada was just so delicious...! I really want to recommend trying it, since it's the basic, classic flavor of K-Chop Sarada, haha. If you're near Sinsa Station and craving nostalgic sarada bread, drop by K-Chop Sarada~
