## In short

Suwolgyeonghwa is a hanok-style ocean-view tea café on the 3rd and 4th floors of a building on Songjeong-jungang-ro 6beon-gil in Haeundae, Busan. Sitting at the 4th floor's full-length window with a friend, the writer had an iced Hyeonwol Hojicha and an iced Lemon Sunset tea with a Dalbodre dessert box for 30,000 won in total, then looked around the 3rd floor, which is mostly low floor tables. For tea and dessert with a view of Songjeong Beach and the beach train, Suwolgyeonghwa is well worth the climb.

Ta-da~ here's the exterior of Suwolgyeonghwa!

You head up to the 4th floor, and since there's no elevator, you have to take the stairs!!

## The 4th-floor window wall and hanok-style interior

The 4th floor of Suwolgyeonghwa is the level with full windows looking out onto the Songjeong sea, and it's equipped with group tables and even a baby chair. Walking in, I really felt the hanok (traditional Korean house) atmosphere~ Overall the interior felt clean and pleasant!

The windows are full panes so the ocean view outside is so clearly visible 🌊 I thought drinks would taste even better while looking at such a pretty view 💙

There are also group tables, so it's great to come with a bigger group of friends 🤍

The tables and chairs are all wood-toned, giving off a warm and cozy feeling 🤎

The lighting was also so sparkly and pretty ✨️ giving off a really Korean atmosphere...🤍

There's also a baby chair, so anyone visiting with a little one can use it freely 👶🏻

The little props and interior details scattered around were so pretty it was fun just to look around 🩷 The potted plant on top of the millstone was such a cute little touch 💐

## How to order at Suwolgyeonghwa and what's on the menu

You order at the counter using the kiosk~ And the different teas are displayed at the counter, so you can smell them yourself and pick whichever one you like 👍🏻 I loved that you could choose based on your own taste 🩷

Our drinks and dessert arrived! The cups, teacups, and even the dessert box design were so pretty 🩷

The visuals alone were so pretty it almost felt a shame to eat 🥰

They also gave us a card with a kind description of the tea, which I appreciated! The Asian-style painting on the back of the card was also so beautiful...🌄

There were tea leaves placed on top of the cup, and they told us these were only for smelling, not for eating~ Getting to smell even the tea leaves meant I could enjoy the fragrance for a long time, which I loved 👍🏻

### Iced Hyeonwol Hojicha and iced Lemon Sunset: how do they taste?

Hyeonwolhojicha is a hojicha (roasted green tea) with a nutty, smoky roasted flavor, layered with the deep nuttiness of brown rice and the rich sweetness of melted brown sugar, creating a sweet yet familiar flavor that expresses something new within the familiar. It was really delicious 🍵💛

Lemon sunset is a tea that combines hibiscus, a tart red mugunghwa (rose of Sharon) family fruit, lemon myrtle for a refreshing citrusy zing, and stevia for natural sweetness — a tea with the charm of tart, refreshing, and sweet all at once, and it was totally my type 🍋🌺

Both hyeonwolhojicha and lemon sunset matched my taste perfectly, so I was very satisfied 🥰🩷

## What's in the 13,000 won Dalbodre dessert box

For dessert we ordered the dalbodre box 🎁 The plating alone looked so pretty and delicious 😋 Dalbodre is a pure Korean word meaning sweet and soft! It was great being able to try five different desserts all at once 👍🏻

![The five desserts making up the dalbodre box](https://img.superchart.com/images/songjeong-ocean-view-tea-cafe-two-floors/songjeong-ocean-view-tea-cafe-two-floors-18-rmxw3-900.webp)

They also gave us a card describing each dessert 📝

![Dessert description card with the elegant plates and cutlery](https://img.superchart.com/images/songjeong-ocean-view-tea-cafe-two-floors/songjeong-ocean-view-tea-cafe-two-floors-20-1i1s3-900.webp)

Even the plates and cutlery had a really luxurious feel to their design 🍽

This is a flower-scented ganache monaka made with French chocolate 🩷

This is an injeolmi (sweet rice cake) skewer, where traditional glutinous rice cake, bean powder, honey, and brown rice come together beautifully 🤤

This is a black rice sulbbang (steamed bread) made through makgeolli (rice wine) fermentation 💜

![Black rice sulbbang made with makgeolli fermentation](https://img.superchart.com/images/songjeong-ocean-view-tea-cafe-two-floors/songjeong-ocean-view-tea-cafe-two-floors-22-1uiyd-900.webp)

This is a gamtae myeongnan financier, a sweet-and-salty harmony of the sea flavor of the East and the classic sweetness of the West 🩷

Lastly, a whole red bean butter monaka, where whole red bean paste, French gourmet butter, nuts, and glutinous rice cake come together harmoniously 💛

The signature dalbodre dessert box was overall very sweet, a unique dessert that blended East and West beautifully — a crowd-pleasing flavor that anyone would like without much divide in preference! Both my friend and I ate it all up happily 🩷

## Watching the beach train, and the 3rd floor's low floor seating

Suwolgyeonghwa's biggest strength is its beautiful ocean view 🌊💙 I loved being able to watch the Haeundae Beach Train pass by too 👍🏻

The café is made up of the 3rd and 4th floors~ From this photo onward, this is the interior of the 3rd floor!!

The 3rd floor has a different charm from the 4th floor 💛 There are a lot of floor-seated tables here, which really brings out the hanok feel haha.

## Who will enjoy Suwolgyeonghwa most

If you want to enjoy sweet desserts and deeply flavorful tea while gazing at Songjeong Beach and the beach train, definitely visit Suwolgyeonghwa 🩷 I took so many great photos and had a proper healing trip when I visited this time 🥰 The café's interior and atmosphere were so pretty that it left a lasting impression — I strongly recommend Suwolgyeonghwa 💫
