There were more staff inside than I expected, and delivery orders kept coming in nonstop — clearly a busy Gyodae lunch spot haha. There are especially plenty of terrace seats and solo-dining seats, so it's good for a quiet solo lunch, and on a nice day the terrace feels like a picnic. The warm bonito broth is served free, and it has a clean taste without added seasoning, so I ended up drinking three cups lol. It pairs so well with the gimbap that I just drank the broth on its own without the cup noodles.

The gimbap was even more packed than expected, with lots of vegetables — perfect when you want something fresh! Each roll has 10 pieces, and each piece is big enough for a fully filling meal.

The signature Halls gimbap has spicy fish cake along with egg strips and vegetables, so it tastes fresh and healthy with a bit of a kick! I like spicy fish cake gimbap or ttaengcho (hot pepper) gimbap, and this wasn't as spicy as I expected, so even those who can't handle spice can eat it — recommended for anyone who wants a little edge within a healthy meal lol.

The gimbap loaded with tuna had more tuna than rice, so it was packed with protein, and the tuna was moist rather than dry — delicious!! Some places that sell tuna-heavy gimbap worry me by adding too much mayonnaise, but here it was just moist enough and had a healthy taste, which I liked.

## Dakgangjeong size S: crisp outside, juicy chicken thigh inside

The dakgangjeong was really delicious, and the chili peppers on top were spicy in a way that matched it well.

Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, made with chicken thigh meat, so it was so soft, and the sauce coating was just right. Isn't this basically just a dakgangjeong specialty spot?? For ₩10,000, this amount felt reasonable, so it seems great for takeout whenever you're craving dakgangjeong!!
