I lathered it in my hands, then massaged it over my skin to wash my face. Even a small amount made a rich lather, and I did not feel any irritation while using it. On days when I normally wore sunscreen, I felt that one cleanse was enough.

I checked that the product I received had an expiration date through the end of the year after next. However, it said that use within one year after opening is recommended.
