## In short

Tiny Dot is a roastery café taking up a whole 4-story building in Michuhol, Incheon, near Hakik and Juan. Looking for a quiet café, the writer tried the Hadong stone-mill matcha latte ground on a real millstone, an acid-free iced americano, and a dense Basque cheesecake. The drinks were good, but the calm window seats on the 2nd and 3rd floors were what stuck with her most.

## Looking for a quiet café in Hakik-dong

I was looking for a café around Hakik in Incheon and ended up visiting Tiny Dot. These days, when I pick a café, the taste of the coffee and desserts matters, but I also care a lot about whether the atmosphere is comfortable enough to sit in for a long time. That day I wanted a good drink, but I also wanted to relax somewhere that wasn't too loud.

Tiny Dot uses an entire building as its café.

Walking in, the high-end grinder and beans caught my eye right away. Various certificates on display made it clear the barista was skilled!

They also sell drip bags separately, so it'd be nice to enjoy the coffee at home too!

### 4 kinds of beans, plus hand drip and siphon coffee

Tiny Dot has 4 kinds of beans to choose from, and they also offer hand-drip coffee and siphon coffee, which extracts coffee using steam pressure and gravity — I found that really interesting!

![Hand-drip and siphon coffee equipment at Tiny Dot](https://img.superchart.com/images/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte-06-1j0mm-966.webp)

And then there was this huge grinder that caught my eye. Turns out it's 153 years old. It was amazing to see it still working!

## Hadong matcha ground on a real stone mill

They grind Hadong matcha on an actual stone mill.

They also sell Dutch coffee concentrate. The coffee here is already proven.

## Desserts baked fresh every morning

The desserts in the display case were completely sold out!! I had no idea the desserts here were as popular as the coffee. Since they're baked fresh every morning, they get a lot of love.

## Tiny Dot spans 4 floors

Tiny Dot is a 4-floor building — the 1st floor is the front desk, the 2nd and 3rd floors are seating, and the 4th floor is rental only.

There was a small shelf in front of the elevator and even one inside it — a small touch that felt genuinely thoughtful.

### The 2nd floor atmosphere

There are plenty of pretty cafés out there, but sometimes when you actually walk in, it's too crowded or the music is too loud to talk. That day I wanted something a bit different — somewhere I could sit alone comfortably, or somewhere I could chat with someone without feeling awkward.

![Quiet and tidy interior of Tiny Dot's 2nd floor](https://img.superchart.com/images/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte-14-1g2n3-966.webp)

My first impression walking around was clean and calm. What struck me especially about the 2nd and 3rd floors was how quiet and tidy the overall atmosphere was. Sometimes at cafés you get self-conscious about background noise or people moving around, but that day there was much less of that.

That's probably why I saw quite a few solo customers, as well as groups chatting comfortably together. It wasn't a café that leaned into just one kind of mood — it seemed to work well whether you came alone or with others.

## The window seats were especially nice on a rainy day

Personally, I have a soft spot for window seats at cafés. It's nice to glance outside while sipping coffee, and it doesn't feel awkward to sit alone there. I liked the window seats at Tiny Dot too. With the quiet atmosphere and window seating together, it felt like a good spot to take a little break with a coffee.

If you like going to cafés alone, I think you'd enjoy this kind of atmosphere.

## What I ordered and the prices

- Iced Americano ₩4,000
- Stone-mill Matcha Latte ₩6,000
- Basque Cheesecake ₩6,500

![Drinks and dessert set at a window seat](https://img.superchart.com/images/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte-16-uneb7-966.webp)

What I tried this time was the stone-mill matcha latte, an iced americano, and the Basque cheesecake. I was especially curious about the stone-mill matcha latte since it's made with Hadong matcha, and it turned out to be more memorable than I expected.

### Stone-mill matcha latte

![A cup of stone-mill matcha latte made with Hadong matcha](https://img.superchart.com/images/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte-17-156vf-966.webp)

The first thing I was curious about was the stone-mill matcha latte. Since it's made with Hadong matcha, I wondered what it would taste like. When I picked up the cup, the distinctive matcha aroma came through gently, and one sip revealed a smooth flavor where the matcha and milk blended nicely.

Rather than a style where matcha's bitterness dominates, it felt easy to drink as a latte. If you like matcha's flavor but prefer a smoother latte, I think this is worth trying at least once.

When matcha drinks are too bitter or astringent, I tend to avoid them, but this stone-mill matcha latte was easy to drink. The fact that it's made with Hadong matcha also added a layer of curiosity to the menu item itself. It was the drink I was most curious about that day, and it turned out to be satisfying when I actually tried it.

### Iced Americano

![Tiny Dot's iced americano](https://img.superchart.com/images/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte-19-5rqkp-966.webp)

![A glass of nutty iced americano without acidity](https://img.superchart.com/images/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte-20-1x4o9-966.webp)

Rather than a sour first sip, it had a nutty flavor without acidity. Some people like acidity in coffee, but I lean toward nutty flavors, so this was more comfortable for me to drink. The aroma wasn't overwhelming and went down cleanly, which also made it good to pair with dessert.

### Basque Cheesecake

Basque cheesecake

![Dense-looking Basque cheesecake](https://img.superchart.com/images/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte-22-1lzll-966.webp)

![Basque cheesecake served together with a drink on the table](https://img.superchart.com/images/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte-23-1o4k4-966.webp)

The Basque cheesecake looked dense just from the look of it.

![Cross-section of the dense Basque cheesecake cut with a fork](https://img.superchart.com/images/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte/tiny-dot-incheon-hagik-matcha-latte-24-1a2vl-966.webp)

Cutting into it with a fork revealed a soft yet dense texture, and the first bite confirmed it — this wasn't a light, disappearing-in-a-second cake but a rich one. The distinctive cheese flavor came through, and the dense texture paired well with coffee.

Personally, the iced americano plus Basque cheesecake combination felt the most familiar and satisfying.

## To sum up

This time at Tiny Dot I tried the stone-mill matcha latte, iced americano, and Basque cheesecake. The stone-mill matcha latte had the nutty flavor of Hadong matcha, the iced americano was nutty without acidity and easy to drink, and the Basque cheesecake's dense texture was the highlight.

I liked the drinks and desserts, but personally the quiet, tidy atmosphere of the 2nd and 3rd floors was what stayed with me the most. I especially liked that there were plenty of solo customers as well as groups chatting together, so it felt comfortable to use however you came. If you're looking for a quiet café in Hakik-dong for a cup of coffee, and you care about the space's atmosphere as much as the drinks, Tiny Dot might be worth checking out. 😊
