After a Daebudo drive, we had live fish mulhoe, assorted sushi, and grilled rockfish for weekend lunch, with lunch discounts available even on weekends. After looking around Daebudo and spending some time there, it was suddenly lunchtime. While searching for somewhere nearby to eat, we ended up at Eochongye 1beonji (어촌계1번지) in Ansan~!! Takeout is available too, and apparently tonkatsu is served as a complimentary side. We visited for lunch on a weekend, but every item except the grilled rockfish could still be ordered at the lunch-menu price, discounted by ₩2,000!! Lots of people were ordering the mulhoe, haha. Such great value!! There was miyeokguk (seaweed soup), seasoned seaweed stems, water kimchi, salad, and more!! You can also call staff or request refills using the tablet!! ## Cool, generous live fish mulhoe The first dish we tried was the live fish mulhoe!!! It comes in such a huge bowl 💛 Totally my kind of food. I was so happy thinking, “This much for ₩15,000?” haha. Maybe because we had been walking around Daebudo, I was even more drawn to something cool and refreshing, haha. Mulhoe really has that special refreshing taste in summer. I think mulhoe is so appealing for that cool first bite and its sweet-and-tangy flavor. It feels different from eating sashimi by itself. With the cold broth, my mouth felt totally refreshed. The bowl was incredibly generous and full of variety too. Eating it with the noodles made for a filling, very satisfying lunch, haha. We had ordered mulhoe, but wanted a rice dish to eat alongside it too, so we got the assorted sushi. Rather than having just one dish, ordering the mulhoe and a rice dish together made lunch much more filling. A mouthful of happiness.. My number-one pick was especially the salmonㅠㅠ It was so delicious. Next time, I’m coming back for salmon sashimi, haha. It was nice to have sushi with different kinds of fish rather than eating only one kind the whole time, haha. It was ₩24,000. Since it is a grilled dish, it does take some time!! The grilled rockfish was excluded from the lunch-special discount. It came out nicely crisped, so even the skin was delicious. Rice was not included, but adding rice for ₩1,000 made it a really filling meal, haha. ## A great lunch stop on the way back from Daebudo From cool, tangy live fish mulhoe, to assorted sushi that makes for a filling meal with rice, and grilled rockfish that you can enjoy warm! The dishes did not overlap, so it was fun choosing among them too. If you visit with several people, it could be nice for everyone to order what they want and share. 💛💛 Some people love sashimi or mulhoe, some love sushi, and some love grilled fish~~ haha. Eochongye 1beonji was such a great-value Ansan seafood restaurant with lots of choice!! We ordered three dishes because we wanted to try a bit of everything, and in the end, it was great to enjoy such variety, haha 💛💛💛 I especially liked that the lunch-menu benefits were available even on weekends. We came by car, and parking was free for two hours. You just need to mention it when paying!! When you are coming back from a Daebudo outing, you usually travel by car, right? So the two hours of free parking felt convenient too.
