A place with such a high revisit rate around me that it's said people either never go once, or never stop going back

Low Five is a pizza restaurant located near the entrance to Suwon Hwaseong Haenggung's Haenggung-dong, halfway up the hill on the road leading to the main gate of Seongyeong Library. It's open from 11:20 to 21:00, with break time from 15:00 to 16:50, last order at 19:30, and it's closed every Tuesday.

The waitlist kiosk near Low Five's entrance. Waiting is managed through Catch Table. If you don't check in within 10 minutes of being called, your spot gets cancelled, so make sure to stay nearby.

## Inside Low Five: seating, atmosphere and the self-serve bar

Low Five's cozy interior. The tables aren't crammed together, so it feels relaxed and comfortable.

From the sunlit window seats to the softly lit, comfortable sofa seating — I love it all.

Right in the center of the restaurant is a self-serve bar with cheese powder, hot sauce, napkins, wet wipes, small plates, and water cups. You can also grab extra utensils as needed.

I always drizzle hot sauce on my pizza (I'm a Korean through and through who can't handle greasy food too well;;), but at Low Five I never got a chance to use a single drop!

The pizza came out with the crust a bit heavily charred...

Low Five's signature soft, sweet corn pizza. It's made with white truffle cream, bacon, chili shrimp, butter seasoning, and grilled corn.

A flavor that earns applause with the first bite. The white truffle cream and grilled corn work together beautifully. Chewy dough, soft and sweet seasoning, and juicy pops of sweet corn — my pizza-obsessed companion's cheeks were lifted into a full grin.

The hot pepperoni pizza is flavored with red sauce, pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, red onion, and jalapeño. Unlike the very sweet, creamy corn pizza, this one is red-sauced from the start, spicier, and feels richer.

### Why order the Low Five pizza half-and-half instead of one flavor?

If you don't mind spice, I recommend ordering the half-and-half pizza. For me, eating only the corn pizza felt like it might get a little heavy and cloying after a while (though it's absolutely one of my favorite pizzas..), but switching straight to the jalapeño pepperoni side let me cycle perfectly through sweet, savory, and spicy without ever getting tired of it!

The sliced jalapeños are the real kicker! Slice them up yourself with the knife from the self-serve bar.

Piling spicy, tingly jalapeños on top of the pepperoni. Mmm~ I love that jalapeño aroma~

## Vongole pasta, 18,000 won — an oil pasta made with short-neck clams only

The clam pasta is ₩18,000. Instead of using regular littleneck clams or mussels, it's made only with venus clams for a deep, rich ocean flavor — a clean oil pasta!

There's lemon on top, so squeeze as much as suits your taste. But be careful — squeeze too much and all you'll taste is lemon, so add it gradually while tasting.

Give it a good toss~ The sliced garlic and the deep, savory flavor of the venus clams pair wonderfully with the oil.

You can put the shucked clam shells in the paper cup provided alongside the dish.

Alright, time to dig in? The noodles are well-cooked and springy, wonderfully chewy.

The arugula I love is also nice and fragrant. Eaten alongside the pizza, it makes for a clean, refreshing combo — top-tier pairing.

The avocado kimchi fried rice is ₩14,000 — a unique take on kimchi fried rice topped with scrambled egg and thinly sliced avocado.

A whole fresh, creamy half of an avocado sits on top. Red, yellow, green — the colors are so photogenic together. A perfectly ripe avocado cross-section.

The fried rice is packed with plump, thick ham and plenty of kimchi, giving it a crunchy, chewy texture and just the right level of spice.

A bite with the scramble is soft yet spicy and savory. If you're Korean, this combo is irresistible. My mouth is watering just writing this review. And this ham!

The spicy-tangy kimchi fried rice, combined with the soft, rich avocado and fluffy egg, plus a subtle hint of buttery aroma, makes for a soft yet spicy dish! Paired with the pasta and pizza, it added a savory, hearty weight to the whole meal — a very filling spread! Even my pizza-loving companion approved and would recommend this combo.
