I didn't know about this place since the restaurant isn't on the ground floor, but inside it was packed with customers. Our galbisal and teuk-yang arrived. They put it on the grill first, then kept circling around checking on several tables. When they're busy they can't always keep an eye on your grill, so you have to watch it yourself so it doesn't burn. Look at that color on the beef. Zero color correction, I swear. Doesn't the beef at Chodaechang Dangsan Station look incredibly red and delicious? You know how offal restaurants tend to have fresh meat, right? Beef gets tough if you overcook it, so grill it just right, dip it lightly in oil-salt sauce or the seasoned sauce that comes out first, let it cool a touch, and the savory beefy aroma really comes through. If you need some carbs while eating meat, skip the rice bowl and get the kimchi noodle soup instead, haha. The chewy texture was really great. Chodaechang near Dangsan Station, teuk-yang grill — just watching it get snipped with scissors, you could feel how chewy the abomasum was. Parking at Chodaechang near Dangsan Station — apparently there's free parking in front of a pharmacy behind the restaurant?? But the space is tight, so you need to call the staff directly to check before you visit.
