It is about equally close to both Yeoksam Station and Gangnam Station, so it was easy to get to from whichever station you get off at. And parking in Gangnam is difficult, but this place has a parking lot and apparently offers valet parking, too!! There is a terrace in front of the restaurant, so you could grab dessert and chat there for a little while. We arrived almost right at opening, so I was able to take photos of the quiet interior. It gets really busy here at lunch, though. We ordered two rice dishes and added tangsuyuk (Korean sweet-and-sour fried pork) to share. It looked so good, right? Even though we chose the mild version, the broth was spicy and full of savory flavor. I am absolutely a rice person, and it went so well with rice. It was also a great combination with the fried rice. And I was eating with my husband, who usually eats small portions, too. Haha. ### Half sauce-poured, half sauce-dipped tangsuyuk Half the tangsuyuk came with the sauce poured over it, while the other half was for dipping. True to the glutinous-rice description, it was chewy, and the sauce was thick, sweet, and so delicious. It came with jjajang (black bean sauce) to eat alongside, plus jjamppong broth. What is more, the jjamppong broth even had solid ingredients in it, and this version was a bit spicier! I mixed it with the jjajang, and every grain of rice had a lovely texture. It paired so well with the sweet, salty, rich jjajang sauce. After going to lots of fusion Chinese restaurants, I was really satisfied to have a meal at a proper old-school-style Chinese restaurant like this.
