Found a sashimi takeout spot in Yeosu haha! "Uchangho Sashimi Takeout & Direct Sales Market" — I sliced it up for a late-night snack and it was so fresh, great cuts, and the value was insane ✨

The visuals are off the charts... this looked so good ㅠㅠ I packed a half-and-half red sea bream and flounder for a late-night snack and it made me so happy..!!! 🥹

It's near Ungcheon Yi Sun-sin Park! There's a row of sashimi shops along what looks like a pier leading out to the sea, and a whole strip of direct sales sashimi markets gathered there!! I called ahead the same day before going to pick up. Since I wasn't sure if the fish I wanted would still be available, calling ahead and ordering takeout worked out great haha.

## Great value because it's sold direct, before auction

The sashimi here is seriously so fresh, zero smell, so chewy and fresh that I'd want to come back and get takeout here every time I'm in Yeosu!! ✨ The husband catches the seasonal fish and the wife sells it fresh, sliced to order, before it even goes to auction — that's why the value is so great ✨

✔️ Tip 🍯 There's also a free open space where you can eat your sashimi while looking out at the sea haha. Grabbing ramyeon and beer from the convenience store and slicing the sashimi fresh right there would've been heaven haha.

Red sea bream & flounder half-and-half, ₩35,000. Since it was for two of us, I got it packed like this! But the portion was really generous and plentiful. They gave us so much haha.

Inside, the fish were kept alive and fresh like this, well cared for(?). Once I ordered, they sliced it right there — genuinely so fresh, zero smell, and so delicious ㅠㅠ ✨

## How the red sea bream and flounder tasted as a late-night snack

The visuals are incredible.. ✨🥹 The cuts were really excellent. They slice the red sea bream and flounder thick, just the right size to eat, and the texture was so alive!!

The trending Terra tomato beer 🍅 was so good.. perfect match with the sashimi. A bite of sashimi, a sip of beer, so good.. this place is heaven ✨💛

The fish was so fresh and clean it made a joke of the word "fishy" — truly just-sliced sashimi, so fresh and so delicious.

It had been a while since I had sashimi this fresh, just sliced — it was so good hahaha. I got full just eating sashimi as a late-night snack, and the portion was huge too.

Can you see how fresh and thick the color of this sashimi is? Every single piece felt precious ㅜㅜ The red sea bream was genuinely so tasty and the flounder was chewy and amazing too..✨💛 If I ever get sashimi in Yeosu again, I feel like I'll only go to Uchangho. This quality for ₩35,000 ㅠㅠ so satisfying, seriously.

### Red sea bream

The red sea bream was sliced at just the right thickness, and dipped in sauce with a bit of wasabi on top, it was seriously so chewy. Melts in your mouth hahaha, so soft.

### Flounder

They gave us the flounder in various cuts too, including the fin part, sliced from different sections. I don't know what this chewy, crunchy part is called.. anyway, such a delicious cut 💗

### Four-piece assorted sauce set

I loved that they gave us an assorted sauce set with everything gathered together! Ssamjang + soy sauce + chojang + wasabi, a four-piece set haha. I'm the type who dips into everything thoroughly, so I was so happy.

The chewy, delicious flounder speaks for itself.. ✨ Words fail me. It was so chewy it clung right to my mouth, and I ate it thoroughly while watching a drama hahaha. My chopsticks never stopped.

A light dip in soy sauce + wasabi + a bit of ssamjang on top makes it absolutely incredible 💛
