I headed to Wangsimni last week to run some errands. After finishing up, before a dinner appointment, I went looking for a nice café to relax with a coffee and found this place. The exterior and interior were both full of atmosphere, and once I tasted the desserts, I saved it as my go-to dessert spot at Wangsimni Station to come back to!

It's a café with an antique yet modern interior, and it uses both the 1st and 2nd floors, so there were plenty of seats.

That said, this café is so popular that even when I visited on a weekday afternoon, it was almost completely full.

There's a variety of seating — tables for two, for four, and even group seating — so it's a good idea to arrive a bit early if you want to relax without rushing.

## 1st floor showcase, baked goods and cakes

You order on the 1st floor, and my eyes went wide at the variety of baked goods and cakes.

They looked amazing and there were so many kinds that I stood there for a long while, debating what to get.

Even the packaging was cute, so this would make a perfect gift too. I meant to just grab a coffee and a little sugar fix, but that plan failed instantly... ended up ordering everything I wanted to try.

This is the drinks menu. Apparently there's also a smaller Eojil In café nearby that sells bread. Since everything I ordered here was so satisfying, I think I need to visit the smaller Eojil In too.

### Mariage Eros ₩6,500

This is a tea blended from black tea, hibiscus, blueberry and nuts. None of the four ingredients overpowers the others — they pass through gently one after another, and the sweetness of blueberry lingers at the end, which was quite charming. It was a tea I'd never seen before, so I was curious, and I'm glad I tried it instead of coffee.

This is exactly my kind of Basque cheesecake. The rich cream cheese flavor really comes through, and the Oreo layer at the bottom adds a nice variation — dense yet still moist. They sell it as a whole cake, and I feel like I could finish one on my own!

This isn't a faint hint of Earl Grey — the aroma is full and rich. It's on the sweet side, so it would pair well with coffee.

By this point it's basically a full meal, haha. You might not believe it, but after much deliberation... this is the classic egg tart — just looking at it, you can almost hear that crisp, flaky crunch. The rich egg flavor keeps you reaching for more.

## Would I go back? Final verdict

Now I understand why this Wangsimni Station café dessert spot is so crowded. It's a lovely café with pretty interiors and great atmosphere, and the seats are comfortable enough to stay for a long time. From now on, whenever I have business in Wangsimni, I think stopping by Eojil In will be a must. If you're looking for a dessert café with great Basque cheesecake, financiers and egg tarts, I highly recommend it!
