Before shopping, the writer ordered the bone kalguksu with pork jowl suyuk (boiled sliced pork) set for 19,000 won, clam kalguksu for 15,000 won and a bowl of rice for 1,500 won, picking the meat off the bones, shelling the clams and finishing with rice in the broth. But since it was evening, the suyuk was almost gone — they said only enough for one single-person set was left,,, I'd gone in dreaming of two whole plates of suyuk, so that was a bummer 😥 There's also bone soup rice on the menu, and that comes with rice, but then I'd be missing out on the kalguksu noodles,, basically I wanted both lol. Wish we'd both ordered the suyuk set so we could've each had our own plate 😅 If you're going later in the day and want the suyuk set, worth checking if it's still available! ## Clam kalguksu, 15,000 won: the shell pile tells the story The clam kalguksu we also ordered. Snapped a photo first lol, then my partner started shelling clams one by one. Even just the meat set aside adds up to a good amount!! Once we gathered up just the clam meat, it looked like quite a lot even shelled, right? Popping a few pieces into your mouth at once tastes even better!! And it wasn't over yet. That extra bowl of rice I'd carefully added was still waiting lol. After working through most of the noodles, we dropped the leftover rice into the remaining broth 🍚 Soaked the rice thoroughly in the broth and ate it right down to the last bite lol. Adding that extra rice was such a good call 🤣 After eating like that, I was genuinely stuffed. Bone meat, kalguksu, suyuk, clams — ate it all, meal complete!! ## Honest verdict after many visits to Pyeongi Dambaek Had a proper meal before shopping even started 🤩 Pyeongi Dambaek, the Siheung Premium Outlets go-to I've visited so many times I've lost count.
