She picked the Uji tea flavor for the ice cream, and I was curious from the start because the color was so soft and subtle. Once I tried it, the tea’s nutty, gently bitter flavor came through more than I expected. It had a slight bitterness like matcha, but it leaned much more toward nutty and smooth. The cream on top was rich and smooth, and it seemed to round out the coffee’s bitterness. When mixed with the coffee underneath, the sweet, nutty flavor flowed along naturally. ## A little moment of luxury over coffee A cup of coffee might not seem like a big deal, but between looking after the kids and being busy with our own lives, it had been such a long time since unni and I had sat down and talked leisurely, just the two of us. And personally, the Uji tea Wunder Gato was memorable. I recommend it if you like desserts with a subtle tea aroma rather than ice cream that is only sweet, haha! Next time, I want to try another flavor too! (I am a chocolate fanatic, so I am curious about the chocolate latte too,,,,,🖤) If you are looking for a Songdo café that is easy to visit alongside shopping, this is one worth remembering.
