Maybe because it was hand-drip, the coffee aroma rose up gently, and one sip felt clean and refreshing — that impression really stuck with me! You could feel the characteristic flavor of Guatemalan beans without it lingering heavily, so it was easy to sip slowly. At first there's a subtle acidity, and as you go on, a nutty, deep flavor follows ☕️. Personally, when the acidity in hand-drip coffee is too strong it can feel overwhelming, but this one went down clean so I could enjoy it comfortably. The name itself was so unusual I was curious what it would taste like, and comparing it right after the Guatemala bean made the differences even clearer. Overall it was a coffee with a soft, subtle sweetness, and true to the 'grape' in its name, it had a fun, sweet grape-like nuance 🍇. It was surprising to get such fruity flavor notes even though it's coffee! The finish was especially smooth, so it was nice to sip slowly and savor the aroma. It was fun realizing how different the mood of aroma and taste can be between beans even with the same hand-drip method.
