My dad kept going on and on about it but I stubbornly refused, and now that I'm in my thirties I've finally realized hot soup is the best thing ever?! As the weather's gotten colder lately and I've been feeling run down, I went with my dad to eat the ultimate boyangsik (health food), chueotang, nearby in Namyangju's Jinjeop. Here's how our chueotang meal at Chuojeong Namwon Chueotang went 🤗🤗 ## Where is Chuojeong Namwon Chueotang, and is there parking? Chuojeong Namwon Chueotang is located at 1828-4 Geumgang-ro, Jinjeop-eup, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, near Bongseonsa Temple and Gwangneung Arboretum. There are even pork cutlet dishes you could bring kids for, haha. Fresh loach packed tightly inside a thin, crispy batter, and dipped in a special soy-based sauce it's absolutely addictive. This place is a real ureong chueotang spot!! It was packed with round, cute, chewy mud snails. Made with fresh, domestic loach, the broth is deep and rich, and adding a generous amount of perilla seed powder makes it even nuttier and more delicious, haha.
