I started by piling up my shabu-shabu ingredients — plenty of napa cabbage, mung bean sprouts, bok choy, mushrooms and other vegetables, plus meat. Once the broth starts bubbling, you add the vegetables first, then the meat, and cook it through. There's something fun about picking your own ingredients and cooking them yourself with shabu-shabu, haha. ## Sushi and buffet side dishes While the meat cooks, you eat through everything else you've grabbed. I came for shabu-shabu but ended up with sushi and so much more — the options really open up! It's a shabu-shabu-focused restaurant, but the range and variety of buffet dishes was better than I expected. From fried food to salads to all sorts of side dishes, it was fun picking through them all. Wrapping the cooked meat from the well-brewed broth in a Vietnamese-style rice wrap made the meat-and-veggie combo perfect! Making my own bingsu (shaved ice dessert) too really completed the buffet course! With soft-serve, bingsu and bakery items at the dessert bar, it was a sweet way to end the meal. In the end, this was a day I ate really well, right up to the edge of bursting, lol. If you're looking for a buffet restaurant in Nam-gu, Ulsan, this is where I'll be coming back to!
