The thick yet smooth cream sauce coated the noodles beautifully, and there was a generous amount of bacon, garlic, and mushrooms, so every bite carried the flavor of the ingredients. The key is to pop the poached egg in the middle and mix it into the sauce! As the yolk blended into the cream sauce, it became even smoother, richer, and more savory, making the carbonara taste so much fuller.
