I read from the easier levels upward and tried the QR audiobook too; the sentences got longer, but the original felt much more manageable by the end. Wow, it got considerably longer. “When I was ~ years old” is a sentence I used a ton in interviews, so it was nice to see you here, my friend!! It still uses the past tense, but descriptive touches have been added all over! Nice. The sentence length isn’t hugely different from Level 4, but the vocabulary itself has been upgraded another notch! What even is “primeval”.. I think it was my first time seeing it, so I read while inferring the meaning! As I gradually worked my way up to Level 5, I definitely felt that reading the original became much easier.
