The exterior is all glass, which gave it a cool, open feel without being stuffy. I especially liked that I could clearly see outside and enjoy the naturally streaming sunlight along with the atmosphere of the street. Once inside, the spacing between tables was also very generous, making it feel even more relaxed and pleasant. You do not feel distracted by being too close to the next table, and it is a nice place to sit comfortably and chat. Overall, it is spacious and unhurried, with an atmosphere where staying awhile does not feel burdensome~! More than anything, I think it would be even more satisfying to visit with someone lovely. It feels like just the right space to enjoy good food or drinks, talk comfortably, and spend some quality time at an easy pace. I usually love salty caramel financiers, so I have tried a whole lot of them at different places. Personally, this was among the best I have ever had—satisfying enough to call my number one. The caramel’s sweet, rich flavor was joined by a subtle saltiness, creating that wonderful sweet-and-salty balance people always talk about. It was not just intensely sweet; the savory saltiness kept it in check perfectly, making me reach for more. The outside was nicely baked, with a crisp yet nutty flavor, while the inside retained the financier’s signature moist, chewy texture. I really enjoyed it. ### Original, cream, and Lotus chocolate financiers The original financier was also excellent in its simple, classic way, with a nutty, clean flavor. It was not overpowering, so I think it would pair nicely with coffee or tea. The financier’s buttery flavor came through gently, making it easy to enjoy. Then there was the cream financier, which had a different charm. With cream inside, it felt much softer and moister overall. I especially want to recommend it to anyone who likes sweet desserts but does not prefer flavors that are too rich or heavy. The soft cream and the financier’s nutty flavor worked beautifully together, and I enjoyed it a lot. Lastly, I tried the Lotus chocolate flavor. Since it combines chocolate and Lotus, it did taste a little sweeter than the other options. Still, anyone who loves sweetness should enjoy it plenty. Rich chocolate flavor meets Lotus’s signature sweet, fragrant taste for something a little different~ Overall, I tried several flavors and was satisfied enough to say that every one of them was delicious. Each menu item had its own character, so it was fun choosing according to my mood, too. If you love financiers like I do, I would definitely recommend trying the salty caramel financier at least once. It was by far the most memorable item I had this visit.
