Maybe it's because I was born in Busan, but I love seafood in general, and my mom especially loves mulhoe, so we went out for mulhoe together after a while. We had delicious mixed mulhoe and abalone mulhoe at Suseong Susan, a mulhoe restaurant in Sinho-dong. The place isn't small, so it can seat groups and also does takeout. I liked being able to taste a variety of fish — flounder, dab, and sailfin sandfish. This is just my personal take, but at some raw fish restaurants, leftover sashimi from the previous day sometimes gets tossed into the mulhoe. It can be salty, and we're not fans of mixing rice into cold broth. But the broth at Suseong Susan was so good that when we tried it, it was genuinely delicious.
