## In short

Suwolgyeonghwa is a tea-focused ocean-view café in Haeundae, Busan. I visited with a friend for its private second-floor seats, third-floor beach train view, Dalbodeure Box, Mellongmance, and American-style Gabae. Verdict: choose the second floor for quiet time and the third for an open sea view.

I stopped by Suwolgyeonghwa with a friend while we were out getting some fresh air in Songjeong. The atmosphere was so nice—I was totally satisfied =3

## Suwolgyeonghwa location and parking

![Directions to the Suwolgyeonghwa building](https://img.superchart.com/images/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe-02-3c28e-900.webp)

It is on the fourth floor of the building opposite the Songjeong Gudeokpo underpass, so you will need to take the stairs up!

You can park on the first floor (tandem parking). If it is full, you can use the paid parking lot opposite or a nearby lot. There is no parking support!

The other cafés nearby all feel flashy and trendy, but this place is the complete opposite—quiet and calm—so it actually stood out even more.

## Songjeong Beach and the beach train through third-floor picture windows

### Third floor

![Third-floor view toward Songjeong Beach](https://img.superchart.com/images/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe-06-1224l-900.webp)

The third floor seems to be the main one. Its huge picture windows make it feel wonderfully open, and from our window-side seats, the view of Songjeong Beach and the beach train passing in front of it was seriously spectacular•••♡

![Traditional-style interior at Suwolgyeonghwa](https://img.superchart.com/images/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe-07-1c6g1-900.webp)

The interior was full of Korean traditional charm, and you could tell they had considered every light and little accessory—it was pretty everywhere I looked. We stamped the seal and wrote in the guestbook, too. (My friend and I are nicknamed Bbung, haha.)

There is also a separate area where you can buy tea bags! There were lots of varieties, and the elegant packaging would make them perfect gifts.

There are high chairs, too!!

## Second-floor seating for quiet conversations

### Second floor

![Private second-floor seating at Suwolgyeonghwa](https://img.superchart.com/images/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe-08-sgfst-900.webp)

The second floor felt more private overall, so it had a great atmosphere for a quiet chat or spending time alone! The seating was divided into bar-style, floor seating, table seating, and more, which gave every area a different feel.

📍There are restrooms on both the second and third floors.

## Tea and Korean-style desserts

You can sample today's tea, too!

Tea, rather than coffee, seemed to be the focus here. I also loved that there were lots of Korean-style desserts, including sulppang (steamed rice-wine bread), monaka wafer sandwiches, and injeolmi (roasted soybean rice cake). Totally my kind of place•••♡

## The Dalbodeure Box and Mellongmance we ordered

![Dalbodeure Box at Suwolgyeonghwa](https://img.superchart.com/images/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe-19-s3ekj-900.webp)

![Dalbodeure Box with traditional desserts](https://img.superchart.com/images/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe-21-1inwh-900.webp)

Dalbodeure Box—It looked completely luxurious from the start! It was sweet without being too much, so I kept reaching for more••🖤 They recommended eating it clockwise, starting with the injeolmi skewer.

- Injeolmi skewer
- Black rice sulppang
- Whole red bean and butter monaka
- Gamtae seaweed and pollack roe financier
- Ganache monaka

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

![Mellongmance tea at Suwolgyeonghwa](https://img.superchart.com/images/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe-22-2wkav-900.webp)

Mellongmance—I ordered it because the name was cute, and it really did have a melon fragrance, just like its name. There was also an explanation of the tea; it was clean, not bitter, and had a lovely subtle aroma, haha.

📍The leaves on top of the tea are just for smelling, so take in the fragrance and set them aside!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

![American-style Gabae at Suwolgyeonghwa](https://img.superchart.com/images/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe/songjeong-quiet-floor-cafe-23-3riny-900.webp)

American-style Gabae—A straightforward iced Americano with no acidity!

⭐️⭐️⭐️

The plate was so cute, like a monaka, that I had to take a photo, haha.

## My floor-by-floor Suwolgyeonghwa recommendation

Overall, the drinks were great, and being able to enjoy a different mood on each floor is this café's special charm! I recommend the second floor when you want quiet healing time, and the third when you want an expansive feeling with a refreshing sea view, haha.

Just sitting by the picture window with its ocean view and watching the beach train go by felt healing. For a quiet, atmospheric café in Songjeong, I seriously, seriously recommend Suwolgyeonghwa!!
