It's such a must-see spot in Yeosu that I wandered around looking for snacks and food along the way. There were coconut chips on top, and unlike the soft, heavy smoothie, they had a crisp bite that added a nutty accent — fun both in flavor and texture. And since one of the staff at Avocado Yeosu is actually from Vietnam, I was even more excited — I really wanted to know what banh mi made by a local tastes like. I expected the bread to be firm and crusty like a baguette, but it turned out to be much softer than I thought. The outside was light while the inside stayed moist and soft, making it easy to eat and letting it blend naturally with the fillings. Inside was a generous amount of meat, carrot, daikon, and avocado. The seasoned meat and crunchy vegetables worked really well together. The vegetables had a tangy, pickled flavor that paired beautifully with the meat.
