Even though it was a weekday evening, there were quite a lot of people around the pop-up store. Cakes were around ₩48,000–₩60,000, while mini cakes were available for ₩35,000. They said the Honey Vanilla Fig was selling well because it is fig season right now! Naturally, the bag size varies with the cake size. I did not get mine packed in an insulated bag. When I opened the fig cake at home, it was absolutely packed with figs inside. I had heard that figs are delicious in season right now, so I was so excited. Can you see how full it is of figs inside, too? The fig color was so pretty and it looked delicious! Personally, I also prefer desserts that are moderately sweet rather than excessively sweet, and the large figs went wonderfully with the cake layers. I think it would pair best with an iced Americano or milk. After visiting Sijeunikeu Shinsegae Department Store Centum City Branch, I could see why it is so popular~ I think this size would be perfect for a birthday or a small celebration. They have so many varieties, including strawberry, mango, and peach. They were neither under-ripe nor overly ripened, and I think that is what made them even better.
