My kid caught the flu a few days ago, and while looking for a hearty meal to help her recover, I found Songnim Bok Jangeo, a Dongnae-gu spot known for unlimited eel. I assumed "unlimited eel" meant just eel, but it turned out to be a generous place where you can also load up on pork belly and duck from the self-serve bar. Eel lovers and pork lovers can eat happily at the same table — I really loved that about this place, so let me introduce it. ## Where do you park at Songnim Bok Jangeo Dongnae? Songnim Bok Jangeo Dongnae doesn't have its own parking lot, so if you're driving, you'll need a paid lot. Finding one nearby wasn't easy. I found a hidden paid lot 3 minutes on foot from the restaurant! Use your navigation to search for the NongHyup Bank Chungnyeol Branch parking lot or Big Sale Mart, then head into the alley lot. The entrance looks like a narrow alley, but there's a spacious lot inside. If you want more of anything, just head to the self-serve corner. I didn't expect much from an all-you-can-eat place, but the eel served was large, thick, and had a great color. Apparently that's because Songnim Bok Jangeo prepares the eel fresh every day at dawn. Grilled to a golden brown over charcoal, the outside looked so appetizing while the inside stayed moist and tender. ### Domestic freshwater eel Can you see how clean the prep is and how thick the eel is? Since my kid loves pork, I grilled it alongside the eel!
