The inside of PARENTS Coffee & Salad Jungang-dong Branch was also really spacious and clean. Maybe because there are so many companies in Jungang-dong, there were lots of office workers eating alone as well as people who came with coworkers. (I took the photo once the crowd had thinned out, right as I was leaving after finishing my meal.) The seasoned pork wasn't as heavily flavored as I expected, but that turned out to be just right for a poke bowl — if the seasoning had been stronger, it probably would have tasted more like galbi (grilled short ribs) ~ Interestingly, the poke at PARENTS Coffee & Salad came with multigrain rice; every poke I've had before seemed to use something like brown rice, so this was actually a nice, more filling change! First of all, the shrimp were nice and plump, the vegetables kept their crunch, and the sauce was the real kicker!
