## What kind of place is Songgane Wang Jokbal Bossam Changwon Station Branch?

Some days you just crave jokbal & bossam. I'd kept an eye on "Songgane Wang Jokbal Bossam" ever since spotting it while passing by — the exterior alone screamed good restaurant!

Running in the same spot since '92, for 35 years — yep, definitely a good restaurant..!!! 👍🏻

### How to get to Songgane near Changwon Station, and where to park

From Changwon Station, cross the crosswalk and keep going — coming down, turn right toward the GS25 and it's right there!

- 14:00–24:00
- Closed Sundays
- About 3 parking spots in front of the restaurant
- There's also a public parking lot in the alley behind (no parking validation)
- Street parking in nearby alleys too, so no need to worry about parking

I'd mostly had jokbal delivered, but I wanted to try it in-store, so I visited 🫶 This Changwon jokbal favorite, Songgane Wang Jokbal, does both dine-in and delivery!

And a lot of people were getting takeout too!

## Is Songgane good for kids and group dinners?

Songgane Wang Jokbal Bossam Changwon Station Branch has tables for 4 or more plus group seating, so it's great for work dinners or gatherings. Baby chairs were also on hand, making it easy to bring a kid along.

The tables inside were spacious too — all 4-seaters or bigger, so you get plenty of room.

Group seating is available too! There was actually a group reservation that day — perfect for work dinners or gatherings 👏

There's a big screen too, so it's nice for watching sports together! We caught a baseball game that day and ate while watching, haha.

Baby chairs are ready to go too 🐶 We went with our kid, and we really enjoyed Songgane Wang Jokbal Bossam.

The place is also clean and spacious, and there's a restroom inside!

And what I really liked — they gave us individual 1-person sauces and soup, haha. That kind of thoughtful touch really gets me!

## What comes with the large jokbo set at Songgane?

We ordered the large jokbo set — jokbal + bossam + makguksu (buckwheat cold noodles)! And I only just noticed they have doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) too — I heard it's supposed to be really good.. I'll have to try that next time 😂

Every table has a cup with water, and it turned out to be yagwanmun tea! Nutty and delicious.

Individual sauces! Even the salted shrimp sauce wasn't too salty, and it went great with the jokbal and bossam 🫶

### The kimchi and side dishes at Songgane

Bossam means kimchi, right? The kimchi was genuinely delicious! Crunchy, refreshing, just the right amount of spicy 💕

Looks tasty just from the color, doesn't it?? It was so good I just kept scooping up kimchi. The vegetables were all fresh too — I had unlimited veggie wraps 💚

There was cabbage salad too — the side dishes overall were tasty, and well seasoned!

## How the bossam, jokbal and makguksu tasted

The bossam looked soft the moment I saw it — and thoughtfully, they even gave us a candle to keep it warm 👏👏

You really have to eat the bossam with the kimchi — it melts in your mouth ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ After only ever having it delivered, eating bossam this warm and soft made me so happy 🐷🐷 A Changwon bossam favorite!

The jokbal was nice and springy too — my kid at home ate the most of it. Jokbal has a lot of collagen, so I eat it often!

When I order jokbal delivery from other places at home, it often comes with the fur not properly cleaned off (which is why I check the trotters first these days..) — but this Changwon jokbal favorite, Songgane Wang Jokbal Bossam, had really well-prepared trotters 👍🏻👍🏻

The meat was all tender, and there was plenty of meat still on the bone too — jokbal is also fun to pick apart and eat 🤞

As a makguksu lover, I'm calling it — a Changwon makguksu favorite! The sauce didn't look strong so I thought it might be bland, but I was wrong! Tangy and refreshing, seasoning right on point. Plenty of vegetables too, which made it even more refreshing 🐷
