There was even a fresh cream fig cake topped with figs, and this really seems like a place that makes good use of seasonal ingredients. Each slice was around ₩7,000. The bread selection is not huge, but it has exactly the kinds of things people tend to love. We started by freshening our palates with the salt bread, egg tart, and plum ade. Aren't lightly seasoned breads like these perfect as an appetizer? The bottom was the best part for me because it was baked nice and crisp—the base was my favorite bit. It used Maldon salt rather than regular coarse salt, so the salt's crunchy texture was even better. The egg tart was quite good too. You could spot little specks of vanilla bean throughout, and its pudding-like egg filling was smooth. It was so soft it almost felt like custard cream. ## Two Sandwiches, with the Fig Jambon-Beurre as the Winner The burrata mortadella ham sandwich was ₩17,000 and the fig jambon-beurre sandwich was ₩9,900. Here came the sandwiches I had been most excited for. The presentation was no joke. By the way, they are secured with a long skewer, which makes them really easy to eat. Sandwiches this thick can honestly be difficult to manage, and often fall apart as you eat them, but not this one! The long skewer kept it together, and I ate it comfortably to the last bite. The first sandwich contained burrata cheese and mortadella ham.
