## In short

Bisyoku Gwangan Branch is a Japanese-style yakiniku restaurant at the far end of Gwangalli Beach in Suyeong, Busan. The visit covered the Friendly (Asashi) Set 500g — 200g top-grade sirloin plus 300g thin pork belly — with egg yolk rice and Daesun soju, grilled a piece or two at a time by the staff, and orders placed by squeezing the oinking pig figurine on each table. Dog-friendly with private rooms and counter seats, Bisyoku Gwangan Branch suits friends and couples alike.

Today I'm writing up my visit to Bisyoku, a Japanese-vibe yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant in Gwangalli. This place is decorated like you've stepped straight into an anime — the meat lineup was varied, the staff were super kind, and everything we ordered was delicious. Total recommend for a yakiniku spot.

## Where Bisyoku Gwangan Branch is and when the snow show runs

![Entrance view of Bisyoku Gwangan Branch at the edge of Gwangalli](https://img.superchart.com/images/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon-03-p7pxe-900.webp)

First off, this place sits right at the edge of Gwangalli Beach, decorated with an emotional, anime-like feel like you've walked straight into a Japanese cartoon.

![Interior of Bisyoku Gwangan Branch with room and counter seating](https://img.superchart.com/images/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon-04-12ngo-m-900.webp)

Seating is a mix of private rooms and open counter (dachi) seats, so it's great with friends, but also perfect for a birthday or an anniversary date.

Right in the middle there's an outdoor space like this, where a snow show runs 365 days a year. Times are weekdays 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM, and weekends at 1 PM for lunch, then on the hour from 6–9 PM in the evening — worth noting! 🫪

## The Bisyoku menu and how the pig call bell works

![Menu board with à la carte meat items and sets at Bisyoku Gwangan Branch](https://img.superchart.com/images/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon-06-voy51-900.webp)

This is the menu at Bisyoku, the Gwangalli yakiniku spot. Looking through it, there was everything from à la carte items to sets, plus a good range of sides and drinking snacks.

![Drinks menu listing sake and highballs](https://img.superchart.com/images/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon-07-1m18i-900.webp)

Drinks ranged from basic soju and beer to sake, whisky, and highballs — lots of variety.

And the ordering system here was really unique — you press the pig figurine sitting on each table, and it oinks to let staff know you need something.

## Table setting and Daesun soju at Bisyoku Gwangan Branch

Here's the basic table setting at this Gwangalli favorite. After we ordered, they brought out a bunch of side dishes.

![Fresh grated wasabi served on a fish-shaped dish](https://img.superchart.com/images/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon-10-1kxnv-900.webp)

Even the wasabi came served on a little fish-shaped dish — and it was real fresh grated wasabi! 😳

![Daesun soju served with a dedicated glass](https://img.superchart.com/images/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon-11-1mso3-900.webp)

We also ordered a bottle of Daesun soju to drink, and they brought it out with a fancy glass and the bottle itself — such a nice touch.

## Asashi Set: 200g top-grade pork sirloin, grilled by staff

![Friendly Asashi Set 500g meat portions](https://img.superchart.com/images/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon-12-rzjgp-900.webp)

The Friendly (Asashi) Set (500g) we ordered comes with 200g of top-grade sirloin plus 300g of thin pork belly, and you can add a small Korean beef nabe (hot pot) for another ₩15,000.

![Top-grade sirloin on the grill](https://img.superchart.com/images/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon-13-1gmep-900.webp)

The staff grilled each cut one or two pieces at a time for us, starting with the top-grade sirloin.

Grilled fast and artfully on a high-heat grill, the sirloin was dipped into a special sauce for us — sweet, salty, and packed with savory depth. Really excellent.

## 300g thin pork belly and egg yolk rice at Bisyoku

![Thin pork belly 300g served with grilled vegetables](https://img.superchart.com/images/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon-15-vc8yk-900.webp)

The thin pork belly 300g portion of the Asashi Set at Bisyoku came with grilled vegetables to cook alongside it — mushrooms, zucchini, eggplant, and shishito-style peppers — and the staff grilled a piece of the pork belly for us too.

No gamey smell at all, and it went great with salt, or even with a dab of wasabi on top. Having each piece grilled one at a time made this yakiniku experience even better.

![Egg yolk rice ordered as a side dish](https://img.superchart.com/images/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon/gwangalli-bishoku-pig-bell-daeseon-17-1sgjo-900.webp)

We also ordered a side of egg yolk rice each. The way to eat it: pour in the special sauce, then pop the yolk.

Wrapping meat with sauce and rice together was seriously an amazing combo. Everything we ordered was delicious, the staff were so kind, and with that Japanese atmosphere on top, I really want to recommend this place! ❤️

That wraps up all the details on Bisyoku, the Japanese-vibe yakiniku restaurant in Gwangalli.
