There are a lot of large, great-view cafés around Eonyang, but this one is built on a site where a forest once burned down in a wildfire — instead of hiding that painful memory, the place turns it into something symbolic, a place that overcame the pain. That's why my husband and I like it even more. Location and parking in Ulju, Ulsan MUG is located at 90 Hyangsandagae-ro, Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan. You really need a car to get here, but the drive itself is a scenic course that puts your mind at ease. Right at the entrance, photos are displayed, almost like walking into a gallery. True to being a large Ulsan café, the interior is huge!! Plenty of seating, though on weekends it fills right up with guests. Forest view... mountain view — sipping coffee while looking out feels like proper healing.
