The writer ordered an iced Americano, Neorae tea brewed from roasted soybean pulp with no sugar, and purple sweet potato bread at a third-floor window seat; Neorae Pudding was sold out. Here's a photo of the exterior of Cafe Neorae, a café near Seorak Mountain. It's inside a building called Yetgoeul Sundubu! They use both the 2nd and 3rd floors, so you climb the stairs to reach the café. Cafe Neorae is located near Seorak Mountain, in the Haksapyeong Kongkkot Village sundubu (soft tofu) street. It's over on Wonam Haksapyeong-gil haha. Hours are 09:00–18:00, with last order at 17:30. There's a wide range of ades, coffees, lattes, and teas. I wanted to try the Neorae Pudding but it was sold out that day — such a shame I couldn't try it!! One reason this large Sokcho café is famous is that Ulsanbawi rock is visible up close and huge. They also have potato bread, so I should try that next time. Along with the window seat with the bopi I showed earlier, this spot right by the floor-to-ceiling window seems to be the most popular for the view. The scenery is genuinely great lol.
