After I was shown to my seat, they prepared a drink first; I could choose from coffee, juice, or tea. It also felt like it was drooping because it was so long. I had booked a layered cut from the start, so we based the consultation around that style. At first, I was thinking of a slightly longer medium length without taking too much off, but during the consultation I was told a shorter cut would look pretty too. In the end, I decided to go a little shorter than I had first imagined. I had come after seeing Senior Director Chaerin’s layered-cut reviews, so I decided to trust her with everything haha. She first tidied the overall length, then added layers. Rather than a style with so many layers that it looks light and wispy, I prefer a layered cut with some weight to it. Senior Director Chaerin also thought leaving a little weight would suit my image better than going too light :) She said I was a little lacking in volume at the sides as well, so she cut it to add volume and keep the line beside my face from looking too flat. She also gave me the tiniest little fringe. Worn slightly forward, it looks like natural bangs, but swept to the side, it can look as if I have no bangs at all. Rather than simply copying the style I wanted, she checked my current hair condition, the volume beside my face, and the weight of the layers one by one, then designed it in the direction that would suit me best.
