I'd heard about a place in Hanam known for handmade pizza, so I went to check it out. Wood tables and green chairs out front gave it a bit of an overseas feel too, haha. Besides pizza and pasta, there were more options than I expected — salads, pizza boats, sides. I was curious about the other pizzas, but since I was with my kid, who can't handle even a little spice, I went with the most familiar, foolproof options. Later, stepping outside and looking through the window, I could see a staff member stretching the dough by hand to make the pizza base. Knowing they don't use factory dough but make it fresh after each order made me even more excited. By the way, The Pizzeria Market is a pet-friendly restaurant. There was actually a guest there with a dog, and the restaurant even had a dog stroller on hand. With the outdoor terrace, it looked like a great spot to dine with a dog on nice-weather days. It's worth checking with the restaurant beforehand about what's required for bringing a pet indoors. The plating alone was gorgeous, with plenty of cheese and basil piled on top — it looked incredibly delicious. I'd worried it might be a bit spicy since my kid would be eating it too, but it wasn't spicy at all. A little later, the star of the show — the margherita pizza — arrived. It's a basic pizza with tomato sauce, cheese and basil, but the crust was puffed up nice and thick, giving it that unmistakable handmade, wood-fired feel. The outside of the crust was crispy while the inside was just chewy enough, and the tomato sauce and cheese combination worked really well together. My kid was even eating just the crust ends afterward — the dough was that good. It wasn't overly salty or heavy, just kept making you want another bite. It seems like it'd be lovely to enjoy pizza with beer or wine here in the evening, too. Men's and women's restrooms are separate, and overall it was quite clean and tidy. ## Wrap-up The Pizzeria Market delivered on both the handmade-dough pizza and the ragu pasta — both were satisfying. Beyond the flavors, I also loved the exotic exterior and the outdoor terrace atmosphere. It was easy to dine here with a child, and pets are welcome too, so it seems like a good spot for family meals, dates, or casual gatherings. If you want to enjoy good handmade pizza outdoors on a nice day, it's worth a visit.
