Today I want to introduce Something About Coffee, a big, aesthetic café that takes up the entire 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of a building between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station, with every floor giving off great vibes. It has all kinds of drinks and desserts, so let's get into it!

Just glancing through the floor-to-ceiling windows on the 1st floor, the interior was so pretty it immediately caught my eye.

## The 2nd-floor counter and outdoor terrace

Something About Coffee has its counter and an outdoor terrace starting from the 2nd floor. With the white tones and a chandelier on the ceiling, the store has a bright, luxurious feel.

Open the antique door and there's an outdoor terrace, and with the big trees and lush potted plants, it felt like drinking coffee in a garden haha.

## Why the 3rd-floor terrace shuts after 9:30pm

Going up to the 3rd floor, there was another outdoor terrace, but after 9:30pm it was closed for closing prep.

The 3rd floor also had such a nice atmosphere. There were cozy two-seaters slightly screened off by white lace curtains, and also wide tables good for groups sitting comfortably together — great for a group hangout, great for couples, and honestly the kind of place where a blind date at Something About Coffee near Gangnam Station could turn into some kind of 'something.'

## Apple cinnamon scone 5,300 won and pistachio cheesecake 9,600 won

Something About Coffee isn't just delicious in atmosphere — the desserts and coffee were genuinely great too. The tarts, scones and cakes all looked so appetizing that honestly I wanted to try everything ㅠㅠㅠ

I've been obsessed with butter lately, so I picked the apple cinnamon scone with its cute pat of butter on top haha

I went back and forth between chocolate cake and pistachio cheesecake, but there was only one pistachio cheesecake left, so I went with the one that looked popular... hahaha

## Café latte and matcha cream choco latte

There was such a wide variety of drinks — looking at photos of the matcha cream choco latte, black sesame cream latte, and matcha cream cold brew, they all looked so good. My friend said she wanted both matcha latte and choco latte, so she ordered the matcha cream choco latte, and I went with my one true love, the plain latte haha.

Weren't the latte, cake and scone all so appetizing looking!? The latte's color was so pretty, kind of dreamy hahaha.

The rich coffee and nutty milk balanced so well that neither the coffee nor milk flavor stood out over the other — it was just a properly delicious latte, so I ended up drinking it faster than usual. When something's tasty I get impatient and drink it too fast haha.

With the matcha cream choco latte, the matcha and chocolate are both strong flavors, so at first I didn't mix them and enjoyed each side's own flavor separately with the straw, then mixed them together partway through — that seemed like a really good way to drink it haha.

### How does the apple cinnamon scone taste?

Crumbly yet moist, nutty, and sweet-and-salty — the apple cinnamon scone. The cinnamon flavor wasn't too strong so it didn't overpower the taste, which I really liked.

The pistachio cheesecake was so good I actually considered getting a second one. I could totally see why there was only one piece left!!

The sticky, dense cheese comes through more with every bite, and the crunchy nuts add texture, giving off real 'this cake is fun' energy, like channeling Baek Jong-won hahaha.

The toppings on top were sizeable and easy to pick up by hand, which was really nice. Next time I come back, I'm definitely getting the pistachio cheesecake again!!

## A Gangnam café that works for a first date

Today I introduced Something About Coffee, located between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station. The drinks, cake, atmosphere and interior were all so good — it's like you're eating the interior and the mood along with the food and drinks haha.

On the day I visited, I overheard conversations from a few tables that sounded like blind dates. Even on a weekday there were this many people coming for blind dates, so I can't even imagine how many come on weekends haha. If you want to enjoy delicious coffee, dessert and atmosphere all at once, I recommend Something About Coffee.
