## In short

Teukbyeolhan Chobap is a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant on Cheongmyeong-namro in Yeongtong-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi, where every plate is a flat 1,890 won. On a weekday visit at 8pm the rail seats were already full, so the table seats came next, and about 16 plates ordered by tablet for two — salmon, aged kimchi flounder, tuna, beef tartare roll and California roll — came to 30,240 won. Loud staff training in the dining room was the one letdown, but the price and the range of the menu at Teukbyeolhan Chobap still made the meal worth it.

I was looking for a place in Yeongtong where I could eat lots of different sushi without worrying about the bill, and that's how I ended up at Teukbyeolhan Chobap (특별한초밥). It's a conveyor-belt sushi spot where every single plate costs ₩1,890, so the price was the first thing that caught my eye.

These days, two people eating sushi until they're full can rack up a pretty big bill, so I wanted to try it myself and see if this Yeongtong sushi restaurant really was as good value as it sounded.

We went on a weekday around 8pm. I figured it was late enough that we'd get seated right away, but there was actually a wait. They manage the waitlist through Catch Table, which tells you something about how steadily people keep coming — and once I ate there, I understood why it keeps showing up in searches for Yeongtong restaurants and Yeongtong Station sushi spots.

## How long is the wait at 8pm on a weekday?

Even on a weekday at 8pm, Teukbyeolhan Chobap had customers waiting, so I'd recommend checking Catch Table before you head over. Weekends or dinner hours could mean even longer waits, so checking ahead can save you time instead of just showing up.

When we walked in, all the seats along the conveyor rail were taken. I'd assumed that at a conveyor-belt sushi place we'd naturally sit at the rail and pick plates as they passed, but since there was no room there, we were seated at a regular table instead.

### Parking: the building's underground lot

We drove, and being able to use the building's underground parking was really convenient. I've circled around Yeongtong before looking for parking near a restaurant, so having underground parking here was a relief. Between accessibility and parking, it was a solid Yeongtong restaurant to visit by car.

## Ordering by tablet from a table seat

At first I worried that sitting at a table meant we wouldn't get the full conveyor-belt sushi experience. But we just picked what we wanted on the tablet at the table, and a staff member brought each order over to us.

No waiting for the right plate to pass by on the rail — we could just pick exactly what we wanted, which turned out to be more convenient than I expected. Since you can browse photos of the menu, ordering more was easy, and it was nice being able to chat over the table and eat at our own pace.

At other conveyor-belt sushi places where plate color determines the price, I've caught myself checking prices the whole meal. Here at Teukbyeolhan Chobap, since everything is a flat ₩1,890, we could just order whatever we wanted without comparing price tags. That simple pricing structure was the biggest reason it felt like a genuinely good-value spot in Yeongtong.

## What 16 plates for two costs: 30,240 won

![Menu lineup including maki, rolls, and gunkan](https://img.superchart.com/images/yeongtong-conveyor-sushi-weeknight-table-seat/yeongtong-conveyor-sushi-weeknight-table-seat-08-xjagv-900.webp)

The menu wasn't just nigiri sushi — there was also maki, rolls, cooked items, and gunkan (battleship rolls).

We ordered a good mix — salmon, aged kimchi flounder, tuna, plus a beef tartare roll and a California roll, among others. Switching between nigiri and rolls instead of sticking to one thing kept it from feeling repetitive.

Between the two of us we ate about 16 plates. At ₩1,890 each, that comes to ₩30,240 total — so for around 30,000 won, two people got to eat a wide variety of sushi until they were full.

It was satisfying to eat everything from basics like salmon and tuna to dishes with a more distinct flavor like aged kimchi flounder and beef tartare roll.

I'd worried that a low price might mean less fresh ingredients. But once I tried it, the sushi was fresh and the overall taste was satisfying. Even ordering a lot of different dishes, the bill stayed manageable — worth considering if you care about both variety and value among Suwon sushi restaurants.

I've had experiences at other Yeongtong sushi spots where individual menu prices meant I ended up only picking a few things — here, since every plate is the same price, there was a lot more room to choose freely.

It's a good fit near Yeongtong Station for anyone who wants to try not just nigiri but rolls, maki, gunkan, and cooked dishes too.

## The one letdown: staff training overheard in the dining room

There was one thing that bothered me during the meal. A staff member was training a part-timer, and the corrections kept coming through loudly. I understand staff training has to happen, but doing it when there are fewer customers, or just lowering the volume a bit, would have made the dining atmosphere much more comfortable.

![Sushi plates on the table toward the end of the meal](https://img.superchart.com/images/yeongtong-conveyor-sushi-weeknight-table-seat/yeongtong-conveyor-sushi-weeknight-table-seat-16-52ajp-900.webp)

That part left a brief sour note, but overall the tablet ordering, menu variety, and underground parking were all convenient.

Above all, the most impressive part was eating about 16 plates between the two of us for roughly 30,000 won. Given how expensive eating out has gotten these days, being able to enjoy so much variety at this price really earns the description of a great-value Yeongtong restaurant.

Teukbyeolhan Chobap is a Yeongtong sushi restaurant where every plate is ₩1,890, letting you enjoy everything from salmon, aged kimchi flounder, and tuna to beef tartare roll and California roll. There was a wait even on a weekday at 8pm, so it's worth checking Catch Table first, and underground parking makes it easy to visit by car.

If you're looking for a Suwon sushi spot near Yeongtong Station where both price and menu variety matter, I'd recommend Teukbyeolhan Chobap! I think it'll leave you satisfied.
