## In short

Lulu Peach Water Gel Bidet is a personal cleansing gel from Korea used by pumping it onto toilet paper. I used 2–3 pumps on folded toilet paper and found it convenient to carry for use away from home. Verdict: a low-friction alternative worth considering if bidet wipes do not suit your skin.

## Why did I try water gel instead of bidet wipes?

I was bothered by that not-quite-clean feeling and itching after using the bathroom. Toilet paper felt irritating, and even commonly used bidet wipes did not suit my skin very well. So I tried Lulu Peach Water Gel Bidet, which is used by adding gel to toilet paper.

The original post also mentioned concerns about the preservatives in some bidet wipes and their plastic nonwoven material. Still, the ingredients and materials should be checked for each individual product.

I found the friction of wiping burdensome on sensitive areas. This product was introduced as a water-gel type that not only removes residue but also promotes soothing and moisturizing care.

## How did it feel to use, and what about the ingredients?

Because it is used on sensitive areas, I looked at the ingredients. The original post stated that all ingredients were EWG Green Grade 1, and introduced it as something everyone from children to adults could use.

It was also convenient that I could use it with the toilet paper I normally use. I felt it was a product that created less concern about plastic waste.

My skin felt comfortable after cleansing. I had previously been concerned about itching because of a not-quite-clean feeling or lingering residue, but when using this product, post-bathroom cleanup felt less stressful.

## How did I use it while out?

I also kept it in a pouch when I went out. It was handy because I could use it without water even in public restrooms without a bidet, and it felt closer to washing and protecting than to simply wiping.

## How do you use water gel?

### How do you prepare the toilet paper?

I folded the toilet paper I normally use into a fairly thick stack of about 2–3 layers.

### How much gel do you pump?

I pumped the water gel 2–3 times onto the folded toilet paper.

### What did I keep in mind while cleansing?

Rather than rubbing, I lightly pressed to remove only the residue. The original post said you could finish without an additional rinse with water, and I felt there was little residue left behind.

- On days when discomfort was greater, I used a little more gel.
- I carried it for use when out or in public restrooms.
- I used it as a way to reduce friction instead of using bidet wipes.

After trying several bidet wipes, I felt that a non-irritating approach to care was more important. If the not-quite-clean feeling after using the bathroom or the act of wiping continues to feel uncomfortable, a water-gel type may be worth considering. However, if itching persists or becomes severe, it is important to consult a medical professional regardless of your experience using the product.
